BSRC second lost in a row

A very disappointing match yesterday handed BSRC an upset lost to Tunas with a scoreline 1-3. The only BSRC goal scored by Firdaus in 32nd mins. Both our goalkeepers were not available yesterday and we had no choice by deploying our defender playing between the stick.

This match at first place scheduled against Jerudong on Friday but has to be re-scheduled to Sunday due to unforseen reason. We were notified again via e-mail on Saturday but only realised on Sunday morning that the team is against Tunas. This will not be our main reason for the lost but more or less affected our arrangement in term of logistics, food, preparation and game strategy. Hopefully we will see our advantage if we can play at our homeground.

Training will resume tomorrow.

QAF FC in easy actually not that easy win over BSRC

Qaf scored 2 goals in last minute of each half, and a goal from penalty that another referee will wave play on for handball or in other word ball to hand. The articles "QAF FC in easy win over BSRC" ,"QAF FC trounching BSRC" or "QAF menang bergaya" will be a different story on papers today if we can convert 2 golden opportunities to level the scoreline. At the end we "only" lost 1-3. Hopefully for future matches, a favourable headline will be on our side. And the answer to this is by winning the match through hard work and training. Our next match will be against Liverpool SC on 14th January 2012.

BSRC Opening Match 03rd December 2011

His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) honorary president and YAM Pg Muda 'Abdul 'Aleem conducted the draw for the opening match of the DST-National Football League 2011/2012 and watch BSRC against Kota Rangers match in Berakas . It is a great honour in front of the chief guests winning the match 2-1 thanks to a brace scored by Herman. A very much needed win to start the league. Thanks to all players for their great effort eventhough a bit of chaos and surprised to be drawn the opening match playing on the muddy pitch with no pre match warm-up. We should have scored more goals if we convert as many chances that we created. Hopefully the team will get better. But most importantly we grab all the three points last night. Well Done.
